Double Stops
I went to conservatory for a concert again. Double Stops, featuring violins and piano.
My parents are coming down to Singapore tonight. They will reach here tomorrow morning. My cousin just now sms me and scolded me, saying, "Why u like nobody's business like that", "wat kind of son are u". I don't know why she commented me like that, is attending a concert at this time totally guilty?
My mood has been very down for these few days. I was hoping that I can get back my mood from this concert, and that sms spoilt it all again.
Back to topic. This concert is nice. Maybe I would love it if I was in a good mood. I think violins can be considered the softest instrument, in terms of tone, not dynamic. So, playing a fast energizing piece and a slow and sad piece, violins can make the music more like music. If it is accompanied by piano, the chance of influencing people goes up.
It is a two-day concert, maybe that's why it is called "double stops", and got nothing to do with double bass. And I doubt that I can attend the second half of the concert.
Anyway, anyone interested, it's worth to go for.

double stops is a technique for string instruments... where u play 2 notes at a time.. it's not the "2 days" thingy..
