Medolago

Went to Medolago because we had a concert there at third day. I posted a video about this before, my first standing ovation ever, shall remember this for the rest of my life.

This was at the place we performed.

We put our things here, then went another place to eat.

This was the place we stopped by to eat.

There was a church there, which I think wasn't a good location (for tourist like me, hehe).

Another view of the church.

They said this was a "mobile pizza making device".

Daniel introduces you the pizza oven.

Everyone finding a place for dinner.

Flute and oboe section, they called it "Fluboe".

Euphoniums with Mr. Tan. Sitting with Mr. Tan was fun, he told us many stories, some really funny and interesting.

We had a marching session, about 200m (I guess), to the place we performed. We weren't told anything in detail, so almost everything was quite impromptu.

When we reached the area with a lot of audience, we played the national anthem of Singapore, which I can't even play a phase, and I guess you know why. After that, the emcee said something in Italian, and we were told that we had to perform straight away, giving condition that we had just finished marching. So, everyone rushed to take the scores, had some water and went onto the stage. Setting the stage with all audience watching was really weird, but we did it.

As the video shows, the starting of the concert was good. The audience responded well, which make us felt more courage. Have to say that it's very nice to play music with Italian. You really can feel the passion from them.

After the concert. You can see everyone was standing.

The clock tower at night.

Going home. No, going to celebrate.

A small party.

Percussion and bassoon (officially percussoon).

Tuba and euphonium (Tuphonium?)

Trumpet and trombone (trumbone? trompet? both sound strange)

fluboe.

Various combination.

Saxophones, the purest.

After that, we went back (of course). There were another performance, jazz music by a military band. They were really good in influencing the audience. At least from what I saw, everyone was enjoying their music. Some people even danced and ran here and there. Like I said, Italian were just so passion in music.

We received a present for the night. For male, it was a tie, and I don't know what is for female.
