After Italy

Long time never write a blog properly.

Because of connection problem, I have to stay short.

So, I landed at Singapore at Sunday morning, together with the others of course.

Sunday night, I slept at 12am, but woke up at 2am, because of hunger. Then I remembered, dinner time at Italy. Slept at 6am.

Monday, woke up at 3pm. I have forgotten what did I do, but my dinner is a bowl of rice, brought back from Italy. It tasted not good, probably because of my lousy cooking. Slept at 1am.

Tuesday, woke up at 12pm. Met Jinyang at 1pm, near Tanjong Pagar, to get oboe reeds from him. Then I asked some ex-co, that non of them will be at CFA. So, I have to practice only with reeds. Went to Golden Mile to buy a bus ticket, will be leaving Singapore at the next day.

The next day, I woke up at 2pm. Went to NUS to have a breakfast (my body still following Italy time, sad), and then went to CFA to test my luck. My luck was good. Daniel was there. When I saw him with his tuba, I knew that I can practice with oboe. The experience was painful. Oboe is a lot harder to play then I can imagine. I heard that it is very easy to be overblown, but for me, I think it is even harder to play then clarinet. I played so badly that a guy came to assist me to play. He is an oboist from NUSSO. So pai-seh. He said, maybe Jinyang's reeds are too hard, not really suitable for beginner like me. And that night, I went home. Can't sleep on the bus, still because of the stupid jet lag.

So, this morning, I reached at Butterworth safely. Have been sorting some photos, and planning for the other blogs about Italy. Due to stupid connection, I can't post them shortly. And I had practiced with reeds for more than 4 hours. I am really short of time, and I wondering, "How am I gonna survive on the next band practice?"
