Sentosa
Went to Sentosa with my cousin from KL and a friend who is studying in HK.
Our plan is to wake up at 9am, reach Harbour Front at 10.30am. Due to some stupid issues, we arrived more than one hour later than planned.
The first stop is of course Vivo City.
So, from there, we took the Sentosa Express, which is the monorail, to Sentosa Island. The price is $3. And I don't think I will take bus to Sentosa ever again.
We alighted at Beach Station. Then we walked a long long way to Underwater World. My cousin and her friend got in there, my friend and I just waited outside, playing with peacocks.
This, is a peacock (male).
This is a peacock (female), with two little baby.
And we saw turtles (not ninja), a happy one.
My cousin came out after half an hour. We had our lunch there, very expensive and, errr, not tasty.
Then we went to Dolphin Lagoon by the tram, because the tickets is for both Underwater World and Dolphin Lagoon. The show at Dolphin Lagoon starts at 3.30pm, and the time was just enough for us.
So do remember that you cannot jump off the tram.
Say bye to the Siloso Beach.
What special in this photo?
Look at this photo, and compare with the previous one.
Love this feeling of tropical island. The feeling of freedom.
My friend on the bridge to "The Southernmost Point of Asia Continent". Actually I was thinking, "what to be proud of?"
So there were a lot of coconut trees, some really grew in strange directions.
And looking from the tower on "The Southernmost Point of Asia Continent".
I like the colour of the water.
And the suspension bridge, which link "The Southernmost Point of Asia Continent" to the Sentosa Island, which is linked to the main Singapore island, which is further linked to Malaysia and Asia.
And my favourite shot.
Panorama shot, a good one.
Errr, don't know what to say already.
A beach can't be a real beach without a coconut tree. But is this a beach?
Colourful beans on the ground.
And finally the strange-growing-direction coconut tree.
Won't have much chance to take a photo above the water like this.
So after the dolphin show of my cousin, we went to take bus to see the Merlion.
And this is the fierce looking Merlion.
So this is the entrance to Merlion. $8 to go up, we all gave up.
A fountain (is it?) in front of it.
The combination of fish and lion.
There was this weird looking thing (river? Fountain?) after the Merlion.
The special thing about this photo is the water arrow.
OK, I am quite sure that this is a fountain. Small one, maybe.
Or maybe is the s**t of the Merlion? Sorry if I offended you, but that's what I can think.
There was a place called "Herb and Spice Garden" beside the place. We bought there two bottles of "herbal tea, cold, sweet and healthy" there. $1.50 for each, small bottles, yet comparatively cheap, that my cousin bought a bottle of 500ml mineral water with $3.
These flowers were taken there.
Can't believe that this is herb or spice.
After the Merlion area, we went up, to the Imbiah Lookout. There's the place you will reach first if you take the cable car.
Flowers' photos taken along the way.
My friend asked what we can see in this "Image of Singapore". I said, "History?", my friend said, "Singapore got history one meh?"
The cable car station.
Carlsberg Sky Tower. "Probably the best view of Singapore". Probably only.
And back we were at Vivo City.
After that, we went to China Town to eat the 汤圆, or "soup round" if you need any translation.
And I saw this, the thickest rainbow ever.
