Why am I so enthusiastic in driving?
I love driving, always..
The reason is fairly simple:
1. I love the feeling of acceleration
As Newton's Law said, acceleration is a good thing to discuss with. But, what I really enjoy is the feeling of force pressing your body when you accelerate. Too bad I never sat before in a sport car that make you really can't move your body when it accelerates.
Ferrari 612 Scaglietti
2. I love the feeling of moving fast
Again, from Newton's Law, fast car has fast momentum, so, it just feels good.
Zagato Ferrari 575 GTZ. Look weird
3. I love the feeling of pushing your cars limit
Emm, don't know whether this related to Newton's Law. But feeling the lost of grip from the tyre is really something wonderful. But of course, that is when you dare to feel it. For me, I am not really that dare. The most I tried before is by drifting about the speed of 50-60km/h.
Hamann Ferrari F430. I always love cars that modified by Hamann, look really nice and attractive, even more attractive then those original cars.
4. I love to turn steering
For those that never drive on mountain road before, can't really feel the feeling that I am about to say. Well, the road I drove at not really "mountain" road, but it is just almost the same. When you are driving at some road like mountain road, any mistake that you made can lead to hazard. So, you have to turn your steering very accurately, and I really enjoy doing that.
Hamann Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. Another Hamann modified car that I love.
5. I love to change gear
This is something to do with mechanics. But, this reason is fairly subjective. So, I can't really tell you why I love doing it. But one thing for sure, I hate driving auto car, simply because I don't have gear to change other than P, R, N and D. Of course, if you give me some sort of sport car with auto transmission, I want it. But, if you let me choosing from auto and manual, I will choose manual, no doubt.
Ferrari 2007. You can see this in the F1 racing.
6. I love to kick the pedals
Well, this one, I don't think I need to give any further explanation. If you still can't get it, go find a car, and kick at the throttle pedal, then you know know what I mean. If you still DON'T, well, i can conclude that you are not suitable in driving.
The gear pedal and foot pedals from Ferrari 612 Scaglietti. Obviously you can't kick the gear pedal, but the foot pedals are just so beautiful. Dammit, I want to kick them!!
Throttle - from Wikipedia
A throttle is the mechanism by which the flow of a fluid is managed by constriction or obstruction. In an engine, the engine's power can be increased or decreased by the restriction of inlet gases i.e. by the use of a throttle. The term throttle has come to refer, informally and incorrectly, to any mechanism by which the power or speed of an engine is regulated.
