Heaven's Light
Somehow I wonder why some people's blogs are just so popular, and some just don't.
Well, there are some similar and difference between well-known and not-well-known blogs. Similar is that they both write something in the blog. The difference (at least what I think) is that the well-known blogs have more photos and pictures, mostly taken by themselves, while not-well-known blogs don't have.
So, in my attempt to become a well-known blogger, I have to sacrifice in posting the photos I have taken.
Today topic is Heaven's Light. This is some light phenomena that you can see it yourself. Of course I don't know the proper name of this kind of light condition, so I just called it "Heaven's Light". Well, it really looks like light from the heaven, isn't it?
This set of photos is taken in August 2006, just two weeks after I bought my new mobile phone that has good camera. Somehow I just felt so lucky that I can see this wonderful scene the first time in my life when I am holding a mobile phone that is capable in capturing it. It is just so hard to be seen again, at least I haven't seen anything like this since then until now.
OK, here starts my story.
One day evening, after taking my dinner, I suddenly felt like going to have a walk around my hostel. With my new phone in my hand, I was thinking to capture some scene around the place I was living in, so that I can show the photos to my friend, in some show off manners.
This piece of cloud came into my sight in the first place. Although feeling this is so usual, I captured it down.
And then suddenly something like this came into my eye. To be truth, I was shocked when I saw this thing, because it was just so wonderfully amazing.
And then I just started to take picture non-stop. Feeling that maybe this is the only chance in my life to see such a scene, I just can't stop walk here and there, just to have a different angle of view.
Then I started to play something different, like changing the shutter to darker mode. Then I found that taking a darker photo won't look nice in this type of scene, so I just have to change it back to normal.
These two are probably the best in the set. The light and background and foreground just came together in a harmonic manner.
These four pictures tell the story of the sunsets. Although you can't even see the sun in this photo, I am sure you can see that the light is started to fade out, and this set of photos ends at here, because no more "heaven's light" was to be seen.
Even at today, that I have taken so many photos of different scene, I still think that this set is probably the best set I ever taken. Good photo has to depend on good scene, and this set of photos has just proven it. And, by the time I took these photos, I am still not that familiar with the functions of the camera-phone. If you give me a chance to take again, I am sure that I can produce some nicer photos.
However, I was just so satisfied with these photos. So, it's really needless for me to regret for it.
